Leprino Foods is the world's largest supplier of mozzarella cheese and one of the largest suppliers of premium dairy nutrition ingredients.

The Store Room Clerk is responsible for the maintenance of accurate inventory control records and performing distribution of part items to maintenance and production personnel.
This individual must have a general knowledge of inventory control as maintaining inventories and distribution of parts requires.
The incumbent must also possess working knowledge of proper filing procedures.
The Store Room Clerk must have good communication skills in dealing with management and in distributing parts to production and maintenance personnel.
The individual works in a plant environment.
Duties may vary by shift to include parts ordering, tracking overdue purchase orders, shipping of equipment for repairs, and data entry.
Schedule:
Leprino Foods is a 24/7 operating facility.
While the schedule will be mainly Monday through Friday, occasional weekend or off-shift availability may be required.

Responsibilities:
Accurately enter data into computer system as required.
Maintain proper parts inventory levels against maintenance needs.
Locates the correct parts efficiently and distributes to production or maintenance personnel.
Maintains accurate filing records of all required functions.
Completes regularly scheduled parts inventories.
Identifying and locating parts for plant employees as needed Accurate counting of parts Receiving correct parts as they arrive in the parts room Other duties as assigned Minimum
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Strong knowledge of Maintenance industry best practices Must have the ability to maintain complete and accurate inventory records Must have the ability to read and write Must have intermediate math skills Familiarity or ability to learn SAP, or similar integrated manufacturing system Preferred
Experience:
Familiarity with inventory control processes in Maintenance setting Language and Technical Skills Proficient computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office products Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to individuals at all levels within the company Reasoning Ability Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Ability to determine the root cause to issues that arise, using skills of investigation, organizing thoughts and conclusions, and presenting these solutions to others Ability to deal with and understand different cultures Physical Demands and Work Environment Ability to support 24 / 7 manufacturing operation, including holiday and weekend coverage when needed This position will be exposed to both an office and production operations environment.
