6K a year Leprino Foods in Waverly, NY is looking for a part-time, temporary HR Clerk - and the hours are flexible! Summary Description:
Provides part-time clerical support to the Human Resources Department including document filing, supply ordering, ensuring timely record keeping, and miscellaneous projects as assigned.
The position involves prioritizing tasks and paying attention to details in order to ensure that all work assignments receive proper follow-up and are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Essential Functions/Key
Responsibilities:
Performs clerical duties for the department which includes:
making copies, ordering office supplies, maintaining departmental files and records, auditing records and documents, creating personnel and safety files, assisting with new employee pre-employment screenings, coordinating meetings and conference rooms, updating visual boards and graphs, and other administrative and/or project tasks as assigned.
Helps Sr.
HR Administrator with coordinating all plant employee relation events and recognition programs such as Company Picnic, Christmas Party, Employee of the Month/Quarter, Leadership Dinner, etc.
Establishes and maintains an accurate and employee friendly environment.
Minimum Qualifications &
Experience:
Must be at least 18 years of age or older High School Diploma or equivalent Active educational and/or degree track in Human Resources or similar career path.
The position requires proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications &
Experience:
Experience in data entry, development and maintenance of document filing systems, prioritizing and organizing multiple tasks, and handling a high volume of requests.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities/Competencies:
Ability to complete assigned tasks and projects in expected time frames.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including ability to positively interact with others.
Ability to work part-time, flexible schedule across 7-day work period Demonstrated customer service skills including being responsive and having a sense of urgency.

Demonstrated attention to details.
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks.

Working Relationships:
This position reports to the Human Resources Manager, with indirect reporting responsibilities to the Sr.
HR Administrator for day-to-day guidance.
Physical/Mental Requirements and Work Environment:
Work Environment Description:
Works in an office setting and is generally sedentary, but may involve movement (e.

, walking, standing, or otherwise being mobile throughout the office) for brief periods of time.
May be required to occasionally independently move and handle objects up to 25 pounds.
Additional:
This position requires the incumbent to work on site at the facility to be able to perform the associated job responsibilities.
